Recently I decided my site needed a fresh face. Don’t you just love the feeling after you have just washed your face? Well that is how I feel about my site. The theme is called Ari 1.1.2 by Elmastudio. The task of picking a new theme seemed daunting at first. Once I figured out what was important to me (flexible colors, left sidebar, and a crisp layout) it was easy to see this theme was the winner. The overall look is what I love the most. The pale gray font against the clean white background is just what I envisioned when naming my blog.
When I installed the theme, I found out that the left sidebar that was one of my must-haves seemed to be fixed on the screen. After extensive Google searching I found the correction to the HTML code that I needed and *poof* problem solved! All I had to do was add my menu of pages and I was set to go. The theme seems to offer the efficiency I need for my site at this time except for the favicon. The last problem I am working on is fixing the logo so it appears bigger on the site. Any advice? My ears are always open for suggestions!
